Money recovery from my friend so givee solution for my problem I have

I given 5 lakhs 60 thousand rupees to my friend , before 2 years back but money not giving back

hi what was thr mode of transferring the amount through online or through cash and if he id not paying amount then you could send legal notice to ask him to pay money and if he failed to pay tjen you could file civil suit for recovery of money
