Money given for college admission to a person who has now absconded

Hi my name is viraj well i just passed my hsc and was not able to take admission in any college and then a guy named prasant ghadge told me that he will make my admission in bedekar college for 50,000 rupees and ran away with the money when we caught him his father assured us that he will our money within 2 days and than both of them went missing but peasant big brother is here . We registered a complaint in kasarbavdi police station and we have evidence like audio recording of prasants father confessing to the point but the police says that we need to have written proof and not taking any act
