Mahindra Finance hasn't paid back the FD money
28-Nov-2024 (In Recovery Law)
— 1 Year FD of Rs 5L at 8% interest in my name with Mahindra Finance. Start Date: 3 Nov 2009. Maturity Date: 3/11/10
— Interest from 3/11/09 - 30/09/10 recd in my A/C via online transfer in 2 tranches. TDS reflecting in my 26AS. Interest from 1/10/10 - 3/11/10 not received in my bank account. TDS on this interest also not recd in my 26AS till Sep 2024. When I wrote to RBI Ombudsman they deposited the TDS in Oct 2024. Principal amount of Rs 5L not received
Original FD with me.
What should I do?
Well, you can lodge a Complaint to RBI again against the concerned Bank. You can file an Appeal against the decision of Banking Ombudsman You can escalate this matter to High Court as well. You need to file your case within limitation period
