Loan levied to a wrong person by PN who dont even have a PNB account

04-Aug-2023 (In Recovery Law)
Back in 2012, a person named Kunal Bedi took a loan from Punjab National Bank, using his Airtel mobile number 9958957314. But he didnt repay any of it and discontinue using the Airtel number. But then, last year around August, Henry Laltanpuia, now a employee of Ministry of Electronics bought an Airtel sim with the same number 9958957314 from Airtel Store in Nehru place, New Delhi. Now the pending loan taken by Kunal Bedi is being forced to pay by Henry. How can i resolve this situation?

First of all rather than going legally you should serve the bank officials a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either stop all these harassments and try to explain them the whole situation with evidence. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a complaint in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Dear Client The former who was liable for the loan repayment cannot evade his legal obligation of repayment by way of changing his phone number. The later cannot and will not be held liable for repayment of the loan just as he is using the same number. feel free to get in touch in case of further discussions. Regards.

Dear Client, Inform the bank in writing under an acknowledgment that you have not taken any loan and still the bank is forcing for repayment. In such a case, the bank will check the KYC submitted by the borrower and take necessary action against the loan defaulter. You are not liable for that loan, You can declare that this number is assigned by you by Airtel and you have no liability with the loan pending upon the previous occupant of this mobile number.
