Lent money to A lady, Now she is not returning

I lent 2L+ to a lady in december 2024 and she said she will return it with interest in feb 2025. Its june now and she has not returned me anything yet. She keeps postponing it and asks me to call in few days. I am frustrated now. I have 3 blank signed cheques and I bounced 1. She still did not budge to take it seriously. I dont have huge amount of money to fight a case as I believe it takes a long time. Neither I can let my money go. Please help me with what to do I am very confused and frustrat

If you have proofs being communications, bank statements and acknowledgement; Additionally 3 blank cheques- You can first send a Legal Notice to her asking her to repay within 15 days of the receipt of the Notice; failing to which you may take appropriate legal actions.
If she doesn't comply with the legal notice, you can file a Civil Recovery Suit.

Well, you have to lodge a Police Complaint against such lady and get it converted into a FIR under the concerned provisions of law! Moreover, you can also file a Cheque Bouncing Case again her to recover your Outstanding lent money!
