Legal Help Needed – P2P Lending Dispute
31-Mar-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I invested in a P2P lending platform via a wealth management service, expecting maturity in Dec 2024. In Aug 2024, the platform unilaterally extended it to Aug 2027 without consent, violating RBI regulations. They also deducted facilitation fees, implying reinvestment. Despite multiple complaints, they refuse to address my concerns. Can I take legal action for breach of contract/unfair trade practice? Are there lawyers who work on a success fee basis? There are several others affected too.
