reply to the legal notice, that you have not provided any bill or testimony of purchase then the burden lies on him to prove that the lawyer has purchased any item from you or the company, so the lawyer needs to send the legal notice to shopkeeper as well to prove his point and usually it is a bogus claim reply appropriately if necessary file a complaint with police for false cases against you and seek damages against the advocate and complaint in the bar council of the advocates area also, if he files anything make sure you also file counter suit otherwise that lawyer won't stop.

The client is demanding compensation from the lawyer.” “The lawyer’s client has filed a claim for compensation.” “The customer has demanded compensation for negligence.” “The client is seeking compensation for professional misconduct.” If this matter relates to India, compensation against an advocate can be claimed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (if deficiency of service is proved) or by filing a complaint before the State Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961 for professional misconduct.

A legal notice doesn't mean you're guilty. Since he lacks a bill, proving the purchase and quality issue in Consumer Court is difficult. Reply to the notice through me - a competent lawyer denying liability.
