Jweller not returning Gold Deposited with him

We were deposited our gold coins to one of the Jweller in Pune city-Maharashtra. Due to some reason, we asked him to break our scheme & return the gold. He was in problem & said I will give your gold after maturity. Now after maturity he is giving dates after dates to us & saying that he will return the money in installments rather than gold one. What should we do in such case.. Please guide.

If you are purchased or having transaction as consumer than you can send him legal notice after notice period you can file consumer complain against that person or owner..

In this case you can send him legal notice to claim your gold or cash whatever you want. If he doesn't reply within a week then we can move to court for recovery suit.
Simultaneously you can also move criminal case against him
