Is Credit Card Non-Payment a Criminal Offense Under BNS 318(4)?

31-Jan-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I have received an email stating that legal action will be taken against me under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, for a delayed credit card payment of 26 days. The email mentions that this is a cognizable and non-bailable offence, potentially leading to arrest without a warrant, imprisonment, and a fine. Is this true? Is non-payment of a credit card bill considered a criminal offence under this law?

Well, such an action may be taken, if they have evidences of you cheating them. However, the burden of proof is upon them to prove, that, how you have cheated them. Don't worry, if they escalate the matter, you can contact me to represent you for your Defence.
