Invested money but not getting return.

Hi, I invested 3 lacs with one guy who mentioned that he is engaged in forex trading. He told me about 18% return for every quarter. However, now it seems that someone else who also invested with him has done a case on him for the same issue, as his money is also stuck. This guy has gone in judicial custody in Mumbai. As of now I have not taken any action. I did investment through online transfer. I live in Hyderabad, this guy is based in Mumbai. I have email through which he confirmed abt deposit and the interest rate which he claimed to give. Now what should I do? Please guide me.
please send this guy civil notice for repayment along with interest asap.
Also please send this guy criminal notice for cheating and fraud - also find out the details of the other case where he was arrested.
After sending both the notices, if the guy still does not repays you then please file civil case of recovery of money along with the interest and also criminal case for the cheating and fraud.
