I have invested a sum of Rs 12.5 lac to a known person via RTGS

I have lend Rs 12.5 lac in different transaction to a colleague but he is not returning anything since 04 years just delaying .I have no proof accept RTGS transaction. I want to lodge a case for recovery of my money with intrest.

In this situation you must file the suit for recovery of your money against your friend before the civil court. Also, In order to proceed with the said suit, firstly, you will have to send a legal notice to your said friend demanding your money.

well 3 years is the limitation period. any demand or part payment made or any acknowledgement of liability by the person to whom you have lent the amount is to be seen according to the limitation act. Rtgs is valid proof.
