I have bought shares of xyz co. 20 years back from a sub-broker. Which were never delivered to me. He gave me manual bill stating amount is due to him. I gave him cash but i don't have any cash payment proof. He refused on ground of cash was never paid. How can I claim my shares. Is this transaction barred from limitation act. If so what is the limitation period for this case. Give me practically possible solution.

Well, you cannot pursue this legal case, since limitation period has already been expired to file a Civil Case of Money Recovery and a Criminal Case of either Cheating or Criminal Breach of Trust. Thus, unfortunately, you don't have any options to recover money paid you ib cash to get your shares.
