I gave a loan to a friend, but he is cheating

I gave a loan to a friend, of 23 Lakhs, he's paid only a part of it, now he's saying he will only pay 4 lakhs, and wont pay the rest, He's blackmailing me with "do whatever you want, bring whoever you want, police or lawyer, I wont pay a single rupee, what's the proof that you gave me money and shouting at me. Please help me recover my money. I sacrificed everything for it.

Send a legal notice through an advocate, demanding the full 23 lacks with interest. If he refuses to pay your amount file a civil suit for recovery . If you already have any cheque bounce of your friend file a Criminal case under NI ACT. His threats amount to criminal intimidation. So you can also file a police complaint . Be strong. Law will help you. Immediately consult a lawyer for recovery.

hi if he is not giving the money then you could send legal notice to them asking them to refund the money and if he failed to repay then you could file petition in court seeking recovery of money and for other reliefs
