I encashed two cheques in the amount from two different account in same bank. After few hours bank called to claiming 50k is tendered in excess. I didn't count the cash at counter and forwarded the cash as it is. I asked the bank to share proof so I can talk to the party who I forwarded the cash. Bank denied and put my account on lien without any intimation, notification or communication. I have 29k in my account which is freezed. What's the legal remedy, can they file FIR against me.

it's a clear deficiency in services on the oart of the bank. they can't blame you and neither freeze your account. Lodge a complaint to senior authorities in writing with all facts and record. hire a lawyer who can guide you throughout. feel free to contact for consultation
