I am CRPF employee and lending plate harrassing me

I am CRPF employee.I want to ask that I already in talk to comp through email but .they threatened me and call my headquarters and sarpanch of my village..and abuse them to that I am chor.. already told them I account was on hold I will pay it in 1 2 month or reduced my emi..but now I am not able to go my village ..I want to do defamation case on company

Repeated calls / threats Abusive or filthy language Calling your unit, seniors, or colleagues Threatening job loss or disciplinary action Visiting residence or duty place Sending defamatory WhatsApp messages Loan apps accessing contacts & blackmailing Recovery agents have NO right to harass or threaten.

You have legal remedies. A recovery company cannot threaten, abuse, or contact your headquarters, village sarpanch, or third parties. Such acts amount to criminal intimidation, harassment, and defamation. You may file a police complaint under IPC/BNS for intimidation and insult, and also a defamation case if your reputation is harmed. Additionally, complain to the bank/NBFC, RBI, and District Consumer Commission for unfair recovery practices. Send a legal notice demanding they stop harassment and communicate only in writing. Courts have repeatedly held such recovery methods illegal.

Under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, you may complain for defamation (Sec 354–356 BNS), criminal intimidation (Sec 351 BNS) and harassment. Recovery agents cannot threaten or contact third parties. Police complaint and legal notice are maintainable.
