Husband & wife are maintaining separate joint S/B & FD A/Cs with a Bank. In one A/C husband's name is first and wife's second and vice-versa. They have separate Customer Ids. Both have taken net banking facility from the Bank. Their Log-in IDs are their respective Customer ID. However if either of them logs-in with his/her Customer Id all accounts are seen instead of only his / her Accounts. Is this not breach of Banking Secrecy Act? Are they not eligible for appropriate compensation?

Well, how come Husband and Wife are eligible for compensation? Despite there is a technical problem in the system of Bank, Bank cannot give compensation to Husband and Wife, considering, other people are not able to see their respective account transactions, however, other people whose accounts Husband and Wife can able to see through their respective Customer or Log in IDs', they can seek compensation from the Bank for the breach of their privacy.
