How to recover money from businessman causing financial losses

I have sold some good via credit to a businessman that he will pay the amount within a week but he is not doing so. He is making excuses from.last two month. It is causing me financial loss, mental torture as well as loss in business. What to do? What section of IPC can be applied?

You can send a legal notice to him for paent of ur dues and then even if he does not give you the money then you can file a suit in your local court praying for recovery of the sum as well as interest on the sum.
