HiI have invested approx 25 Lakhs with a Business person locally based on his commitment that he will give profit/benefit of 50% of invested amount in 2 monthsIt's been 6 months I haven't received a single penny after multiple follow ups. I have received multple cheques with amounts that cover my Invested amount + profit/benefit amount and also a blank bond paper with his signatureThe post dated cheques already crossed 2 months. nnI would like to understand what will be next legal step that can I take to Recover my Invested amunt + Profit amount. Please advise.

hi was there any agreement executed between the parties before lending amoumt amd if then you could file suit for recovery of amount and if you had cheques then you could deposit it in bank before the expiry of 3 months and then can proceed legally
