Steps to stop the harassment: Write a complaint to the bank / card issuer (not the agent) stating that recovery agents are calling third parties, misbehaving and sharing your personal information. Ask for immediate withdrawal of the agency and all recovery to be done only in writing or at your registered number. Send a legal notice demanding them to stop unlawful recovery practices and to compensate for mental harassment. File complaint with RBI – CMS portal if the bank does not act within 7 days. Lodge a police complaint / cyber complaint for criminal intimidation, criminal breach of trust, defamation and violation of privacy, attaching call logs and recordings. Your friends / relatives can also lodge separate complaints stating they are being harassed without any legal liability.

You can always serve them a legal notice to either stop all these harassments or face legal action which will be at their own risk. And if you wish to go legal then you can anytime file a complaint in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction.

Report this harassment to the bank's Nodal Officer and the RBI via the CMS portal immediately. Debt collectors cannot contact third parties or breach privacy under Fair Practice Code regulations. In extreme cases, file a police complaint for criminal intimidation and data theft.
