Fraud with the security deposit given to room owner of new property

26-Jul-2023 (In Recovery Law)
Two days ago when I was looking for a new room I came across a broker(agent) , I told him that I need a complete separate room and he showed me a room also. Initially everything was ok and as a token amount or security deposit I transferred him 1500₹ also(I have transaction ID available). Today when I asked him about the additional charges suddenly he told me that that 7₹ electric unit price and said that two other people also leaves at the same floor (though in a separate room) and then I told him again that I didn't need that kind of room I need a complete separate room and I'll need to see the room again so he said you should come and talk to owner and she has your money if you don't want this room you can have your money back but owner refused to do so
