Fraud Committed by Hyundai Showroom Dealer

I Sumit Yadav had booked Hyundai Creta SX Model in the name of my sister Ms Deeksha Yadav at Plaza Hyundai, Mathura Road Delhi on 14.01.2019. It was promised to me the said vehicle would be delivered to me on 01.03.2019. But the dealer has fraudulently closed the showroom and not responding to any calls. I have already deposited an amount of around 6 Lakhs to Plaza Hyundai through RTGS. It has come to my notice that around 100 other customers have also been cheated by the same dealer. I apprised the matter with the Hyundai Company Sales Head. They are assuring that the matter would be resolved within 15 days. They would arrange a refund. But already one month has passed after their commitment. I have lodged the complaint in Police Station but the police are also not cooperating. The police officials have informed one of the aggrieved that the case is now being dealt by Economic Offence Wing as the matter is for above 3 crores. What should I Do to get my money refund?

Based on the information shared by you the police is correct that it’s the EOW who can investigate the case.
If you get a few others then you have are in a better position to put pressure through police and legal means.
My suggestion would be apart from getting your money back from Hyundai you can also seek for compensation.

You shall send a legal notice to Hyundai and the agents asking them to refund. As you have already filed a police complaint you shall file a 156 application before court for registering your FIR .
