Facing issues with Money Recovery

Hi,nWe planned to buy a plot, and all the discussions happened well between us and the owner and we gave them 3,00,000/- Rs in advance. After a week we asked to get them to bring the original link documents of the plot but every time we asked for original link documents they are escaping to bring the documents because they don't have original documents. Later we asked for the money back. And they are not giving our money back. So please advise us on how to get our money back legally.Thank You

hi was there any agreement entered between you and the owner and if the owner is not returning the amount then you could file civil suit for specific performance to execute the contract or return the money
