Excessively High Medical Bill from Small Clinic

01-Dec-2023 (In Recovery Law)
My father had severe lung congestion and breathing trouble. In a hurry, we called an acquaintance a small, nearby nursing home. It is a small clinic on the first floor of a residential-type building. No surgery was performed -- just one CT scan and one 2-D echo cardiogram. But the bill after 2 nights is Rs. 3,44,000 -- which seems astronomical. What to do?

Well, you can compare the market rate with the Bill which was given to you for payment, then, accordingly you can decide : whether you want to pay the Bill or not for the services sought by you of that clinic. If you won't pay the Bill, that Clinic may sue you. But, I will save you from the legal steps going to be taken by such clinic.
