Does police have right to ask for loan recovery

I am getting calls from police regarding the loan recovery which I have taken from online loan app. Does police have any right to ask for loan money

Police has no right to ask about your loan if you have made the payments properly but if you fail to pay the EMI then the loan company can file a case against you and then the court will summon you and then Police can ask about loan, otherwise not

The police cannot interfere in civil cases under any circumstances. Their role is limited to criminal matters. In civil disputes, the police can act only if directed by the court. For instance, a police officer can arrest you or take action against your property only if a civil judge issues a warrant or specific orders.
