Did not attend first summons on said date I want to know consequences

I have received first summons on 02/08/24 and I was asked to appear in court on or before 28/08/24 but I did not appear in court on said date. What are the consequences I will face?
hi if you had not appeared on the said date of hearing after receiving summons from the court then you might be set ex - parte and that if you want to participate in the proceedings then you could file set aside petition
