Cheque payment stopped because of fraud

I’m Sowmya, an NRI. I had given gpa to my father to purchase a property in Bangalore. The builder initially claimed 97lakhs for my unit and increased the costs without any legal agreement. He now claims that I’ve to pay him 1.28 cr & lied to my father that I’ve asked him to collect 10 lakhs from him and cunningly took a cheque of 10 lakhs from my dad threatening to sell my unit otherwise.My dad issued a cheque on his name from his account which we later stopped. He is now filling case against me
