Can tax be claim from father on the gifted property to son

If a father gifts his son a house property and in case later after few year any legal issues arrived say recovery of tax or anything from the fathers part. Will the govt be able to recover from son's house property ( which was given to him as gift from father ) ?

My Response to your query :
Yes son having responsibility of all taxes and other charges after gift son become owner of that property. Son can't deny to pay these charges.

Hello,
Yes, your son shall be liable. Recovery can be made from personal assets of legal heirs of the defaulters, if dues are not cleared by him.

Outstanding Liability of if not payable by you or not in your capacity to clear it, your heirs are made to pay it.
