Bank Collections agents harassing and extremely abusing me

I was almost beaten by a bajaj collections agent. The TATA and other banks have used extreme profanity and abuses. I have severe medical issues. May have to get admitted to the hospital due to chest pain. Despite assuring that the payment will be done soon, they abuse me lot. I have a call recording and WhatsApp screenshots.

You must immediately file a written police complaint against the recovery agents who used abusive language and threatened or attempted assault. Such acts are illegal and amount to criminal intimidation, and assault or use of criminal force. Since you are also facing medical issues as a result, you can mention that in your complaint. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has laid down strict guidelines for recovery agents, and any violation can lead to action against the concerned NBFC or bank. Preserve the WhatsApp chats and call recordings safely. Additionally, you can issue a legal notice and file a complaint before the Banking Ombudsman and the RBI. Courts have repeatedly condemned such harassment. You may contact further for assistance with the same.

Well, you can lodge a FIR against these Recovery Agents who have been acting as goons. You can send these goons behind Bars. Lodge a Complaint with RBI as well as Banking Ombudsman too regarding their pathetic behaviour, considering legally, Recovery Agents have no right to beat a Customer despite he has failed to pay EMIs within a time bound manner!
