Arbitration award passed without notice

01-Aug-2024 (In Recovery Law)
If bank has passed an award in April 2023 in favor of lending bank, and before that, if I have received no communication from them via email or post, how should I challenge the award? I have a loan from a bank and due to non-payment, the bank referred to an arbitrator, who passed award in favor of the bank, but I did not receive any communication from arbitrator regarding proceedings.

In the event that you have not received any communication from the bank for appointment of an arbitrator or of the arbitral proceedings you can challenge the arbitral award by filing an appeal / application under section 34 of the arbitration and conciliation act and get the award set aside by the competent court. Note that you need to approach the competent court within three months of receiving arbitral award. Regards
