Am I responsible for debts my deceased spouse? our Joint account in bk

My husband & me Joint account holders spouse was passed away .I am responsible for debts my deceased spouse? please expain with section

Well, if you have taken loans jointly, then you are responsible. Otherwise not. However, being Joint Account Holders, you can claim on her funds left by her in yours Joint Bank Accounts and for that, you can file an Application to the Manager of your Bank.
