Women is allowed to file a case to get her portion of property
17-Jan-2025 (In Property Law)
My grandfather bought the property, he had 3 children my dad, dad’s big brother and bua. After grandfather passed away, he didn’t make any will or anything. Bua gave a relinquish deed in 2016 and my dad and his brother registered the property on there names. Now, I am asking my portion from my dad but my brother took a signature before my marriage on a blank paper and is not showing the documents to claim my right of property. Dad is on my brother side that only son has all the right on property
Well ma'am you can file a suit for partition alongwith permanent injunction and an application for ad interim injunction in the present case and you won't even have to pay an court fees too. and if your brother took your signature on blank documents you can also ask for cancellation of those documents
