Witness in agreement to sale deed which has now come under dispute

25-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
I am a witness on an agreement to sell signed off by my sister to sell off her property. There has been a dispute with buyer not making payment due to which agreement date has expired. Now buyer has filed an FIR against my sister mentioning my name as well and indicating an attempt to cheat the buyer.Police has for now registered a case against my sister to investigate but since my name has been mentioned in the FIR as a co conspirator do I need to worry about anything.Property belongs to my sister and biana payment has been issued to her bank account and my role is only of a witness. For now we hv only applied for anticipatory bail for my sister.

You should apply for the anticipatory bail before the court of sessions for urself also, since u have been named as an accused in the FIR. For further consultation and legal services you may have to come and meet personally.
