What to do seller committed fraud and police is not helping

Hello sir/madam, We purchased plots in layout, after registration and paying all amount we noticed seller has put wrong address which is not in existence in that layout. when we ask for rectification the seller stopped responding to us.. now we have file FIR against him, we are scared with the attitude of police they indirectly said us they have pressure for localities to help local people even though they r wrong . police interrogated seller in front of us and was confirmed that he is fraud. police have given him time to refund us.. but there is no response from seller and if i called police they just say they are investigating with others who involved in this fraud.. plz sir help me we have lost out 15 years hard earned saving, want our money back .. Thanks in advance.

Have you filed any complaints against them for the frud done to you .if not please file if they not taking the complaint from your end . Send it by register post through Indian postal department.. cc to commissioner of police , dgp and to homisnister ...for more details call us

If you have agreements and payment receipts or bank transfer to the developer. You can file a complaint in RERA website or if the project is not registered then you can file in consumer court or file a Private compliant in the Magistrate court and take a legal action. If if you have proof for cheating you can file in the court and get the refund of amount.

Dear Sir/Madam,
You have two option,
1) you can file an application before concerned magistrate Court to seeking direction to investigation officer for proper investigation.
2) you can file consumer complaint seeking refund with interest and compensation.
2nd option is good for you as proceedings will close within one and half year and also you can get interst on your amount which paid to a builder and also you can get compensation.
