What should I do in this situation why I have to pay the interest tell
13-Nov-2024 (In Property Law)
In 2018 my father wants to sell our 2acre land to someone for that they have taken a token amount of 8lamh from that person and the bong agreement is signed by my father and my mother but I had objection so the deal broke in subrigister office it didn't happen so that person went to court and the court decree saying pay the amount with interest of 6%annual from 2018 when bond did but now in 2024 my father is no more the judgment was given against to my father I was not involved in this deal
I am not going into the logic part of this matter. reasoning behind the law is considered correct. I presume that no partition has taken place between you and your father and now your father is no more and you being his son will be inheriting his share in the property. and you are required to payback that at once and interest from out of your father to share that you are inheriting.
