What is validity for extension of registered agreement

Sir, we have purchased one house and paid a token as advance through registered agreement and took a time of 1 year for rest payment ( Registry). Now the time of one year is getting expired in next one week. How can I increase the validity of agreement for another 6 months?
The time can not be extended unilaterally . It can be extended only with the consent of both the parties so you should send a notice to him making a request for executing another agreement for further extended period of six months.
