What is the time frame to file complain against builder

Purchased flat in 2013 and faced rooftop leakage issue in the same year. How can it be solved? Through builder or MC? Hw much validity is to lodge a case against buildet now after 4 years?
You send them legal notice to repairing the rooftop ..then after they can not solved your problems can file the case against them ... associations always pravide you all facility on your maintenance charges ..should contact any advocates

First you have to see your Sale Deed which you have entered with the Builder and go through the terms and conditions which explains about the liability of the builder towards you in case of damage caused due to substandard construction or how the damages has to be reimbursed even after the sale of flat. If such clause is not there then you can't claim against him as you have acted as ignorant. If the clause is there then you can take legal action against him. Meanwhile contact your flat association members and join together and file a complaint against the owner at Consumer Forum. Contact us for further legal action .
