I have property in Alwar. It is in the name of my wife only. I want to get my name also added to the property. It was purchased using my savings only. My religion is Jain. I want to do this free of cost. Is it possible. Right now I am being told expenses of the range of 1 lakh rupees.

Hi, there are two ways to get your name in that such property 1. by release/gift deed 2. sales deed. sales deed would be costly for you but you can safely proceed with gift or release deed. Any other aspect such like correction deed and any other may required some study of the documents which your wife has.
