Hello, can anyone please suggest me regarding legal procedure to be followed while buying a myadi land, i.e., what documents should i check before buying a myadi land in nagaon, assam
Firstly verify the landowner's jamabandi in the concerned circle office whether, the land to be sold out is mutated in his name or not. If yes, then verify whether the land is in mortgage.
Secondly, if the seller is joint pattader then obtain no objection from the co-pattadar.

Hi as per your requirement first of all you enter an agreement for sale between the you and the saller of the land for advance payment of money for purchasing the land before the sub register office or Notary public thrugh an authorised legal person for your benifit. And after all both of you and seller will applied a land sale permission at the office of the circle officer and deputy commissioner office Nagaoun for obtaining sale permission. After obtaining the sale permission from the said office both of you will enterd a sale deed before the sub register office. And after getting the sale deed you will also go to the circle officer for mutation of the purchase land.
