What are the rights of women in parental and ancestral property?

27-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
I'm a married Hindu woman of age 52 years. My father expired, without a will, in the year 2000, December. My mother expired in 2006, without a will. I have an elder brother. I would like to know what my rights are. Am I entitled to a 50% division in my parents' property? There are 3 properties - 1)A flat that my mother inherited from her mother. 2)My late father's flat. 3) Ancestral house of paternal grandfather. My grandfather died without a will. He had 6 sons, including my father. Hence, my father had 1/6th share in that property. My question is what is my legal entitlement? Am I entitled to 50% or some other percentage?

Right to properties shall be guided in accordance with the law of inheritance.Without perusing property documents it would be improper on my part to suggest any legal course of action to be resorted to by you.If you feel to have legal opinion, you may contact me through lawRato.

Madam
As your parents died leaving behind you and your elder brother as their legal heirs. Both of you have equal rights over the each and every property.
For the sake of convenience both of you come together for the purpose of mutual partition Deed.
Thanks
