There is no need to get a change in the sale deed. You try to get you name added in the municipal record. If not successful file a suit for declaration that your father was owenr and ater his death you have inherited the house. Then show the judgment of the court to municipal authorities and get your name inserted.

hello sir,

first of all you confirm that your father was the registered owner of the property if your father is the registered owner of the property than no need to sign the new registry from the previous owner, you will approach the concerned authority for transfer the said property in your name or if the authority refused than you will move to civil court and filed a suit for declaration regarding the transfer of the property. thanks

Presuming that the sale deed was executed in name of your father, then there is no need to execute fresh sale deed. After demise of your father, all his children and widow have equal share in his property. IN the event everyone wants their respective share, file suit for partition, & in the event you want title to be in the name of one member of family, preferable mother (if alive) children may relinquish their share in favour of mother, through Relinquish Deed. For more options available and for specific remedy, you may contact me with specific details.
