Want clarification on witness eligibility for legal heir certificate

12-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Is my grand mother's sister allowed to witness my document when applying for legal heir certificate? Similarly is it possible to act as witness by my father's sister's son's son in the similar case?

The query lacks clarity. Has the Office or the authority objected? After all, it is a simple application. ..

The witness should be an adult of sound mind and not under the influence of any drugs. The ideal witness has known the signers of the document for a long time and does not have any financial interests in said agreement.
A neutral third party is someone not related to either party or who does not benefit from the contract. Ideally a witness will observe the relevant party or parties signing the document and then the witness will sign the document as proof that they witnessed the parties signing. The witness is not usually required to know or understand all of the contents of the document.
The witnesses must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and they must be mentally capable of managing their property and making their own decisions. You should contact a local lawyer or review local statutes if you have any questions on how to execute your document.

If they are ( grand mother's sister) comes in the above said category then they can be a good witness
