Unauthorised possession of my land

We have a land in Delhi in my name. Someone is now challenging the ownership of the said property and is stating that the land was purchased in his name and he is the actual owner of the same. What should we do in this regard? Who can fight our case?

You may file a suit for injunction against the said person, who is trying to claim ownership on your land. Please file suit for permanent injunction along with interim injunction application before the concerned district court.

Do you have registry in your favour? If yes than you do not have to worry at all. But if you purchased the property on the basis of GPA then in that case we have to look into the matter in detail. He must approach the civil court of competent jurisdiction for declaring your document null and void. You have to put forward your case before the court otherwise he will take ex parte order in his favour. Be ready for fight. All the best.
