Transfer procedure for land bought in 1985 not done yet

My father has brought one land at my native but they have not followed transfer procedure. Land is still on the name of person who sold. This was happened around 1985..The person sold is no more and he dont have a extended family like sons and daughters. No one is there from his family to take help of for legally land trasfer. please suggest if any other way is there which is legally correct and tranfer will be done on my name.

Your father was purchase the land the registered sale deed this sale deed to take the talathi(Revenu officer)and he has take the notice to the vendors no any objection he was writing the kachha mutation the (sarkal)was the officer of the talathi he was final mutation .Then your name was 7/12 extract.

it is not clear from your querry that which document you possessed right now. if you have any document which establishes the transaction which was took place between your father and that seller and if there is a clause regarding possession then u can claim it.
