Transfer of self acquired property to son after father's death

I want my self acquired property(bought from CIDCO) in Navi Mumbai to be automatically transferred to my 2nd son without any legal hitch after my death. What formalities are to be done by me before my death

In order to transfer your self acquired property automatically to your second son you may execute a Will bequeathing the said property to your second son absolutely. Presuming that your property is a flat in a co-operative housing society,you may also nominate your second son as the nominee to the said property. Both these documents will take effect after your demise.

When you want to transfer property to your son after your death then for that you need to make your Will (मृत्युपत्र) with specification of description of property. Will should be proper & confidential.

By way of gift deed you can transferred your property to your second son. Person has absolute right to dispose his self occupied property according to his own will. So u can transferred uour property to your son by way of gift.
