Transfer of property to legal heirs

My father had purchased a flat in kalyan dombivli in 1994 . He passed away last year. We live in here in TamilNadu . Society flat is now going for Redevelopment and the society has asked us to come for Development Agreement Registration and change the property to all legal heirs . Can you let me know what is the procedure involved and what documents will be required apart from legal heir certificate/Death Certificate/Original Purchase Documents?
Also they have asked all legal heirs to be physically be there at sub-registrars office.
You all can give power of attorney to any one of trusted member among you and he can execute the document on behalf of all of you. Also you should place all relevent documents at the time of execution of deed.

Well, if you want to give the Ownership of Flats which you are going to get after Redevelopment to all Legal Heirs, then you need to get Share Certificates on Individual names of the Legal Heirs. So before anything else, this process should be completed.
