14-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
My father passed away last year and he has one brother. There is a land property on my grandfather's name . Can my mother claim it or I can claim it ? I am a single girl child. And can someone acquire the property behind our back forcefully through my grandfather . what process should my mother or I follow in order to get our share of land.

Both you and your mother have equal share in your fathers stake in this property. If grandfather is alive and property is in his name, your father had no stake in this property. We need more clarity on you on your query to Give you a definite response
