In India, ancestral property disputes can get pretty complex. Since the partition happened in 1993 without the grand daughter's consent, she'd likely need to explore options under the Hindu Succession Act or the Limitation Act. The grand daughter's case would depend on factors like: 1. Was she indeed a major (above 18) at the time of partition? 2. Was she a party to the partition agreement or aware of it? 3. Has she been in possession of the property or received her share? She might consider filing a suit for partition or challenging the existing partition deed. Consulting a lawyer specializing in property law would be the best next step to understand her options and potential outcomes.
