Stocks and shares sold by fraudulent act

20-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
My maternal grandparents had purchased number of stocks and shares and had no nominee mentioned. Both of them have expired. My mother too did not take her share, she too expired. Now the remaining people have sold the shares with a fraudulent method by showing that they both were the only kids and have sold the shares. Now can i file a case against them and are they punishable?
