Status Quo as to what needs to be understood:-
1. Status quo as to the running of the business in the property?
2. Status Quo as to the right, title and interest in the property where the business is done?
Providing the order of Status Quo i will be able to advise you better.
I hope i make myself clear

Dear Sir/ Madam,

You can continue your own business in that property after passing order of status quo because legal meaning of that is keep or maintain same situation in the suit property till the next order.

Thanks

Status Quo means as it is. you may continue your retail shop business by maintaining the position as it is. The status quo order is not a restraining order to prevent you doing business but only to maintain the position as it is.
