shop ownership and registery concern

Hi i father has a shop in old delhi and he is doing business there for more then 30 years now. we used to give rent to court for that property however after court's advise we stopped giving rent to them as well 21 years back. now i want to get that shop registered under my name legally. how do i do that?? as i don't know who is the owner of the property on papers and there is no one to claim except my father.

if there is no one to claim title to the property, then you claim right over such property by filing a suit for declaration and title of the above-mentioned property in your father's name. the procedure takes around 8-12 months.

as i can see ur query is very much high priority as ur saying tht this property is with your father since 30 years now .as of now no one is there is no one to claim it . so in this matter you need to go to high court fir deckeration of the property. through which it get on ur name by court order.
